Hi, I’m Gizem —a multidisciplinary visual storyteller based between Istanbul and Frankfurt. I love exploring different ways of telling stories, especially through slow, hands-on techniques like cyanotype and cyanolumen. Taking time with each frame helps me really feel the moment and connect more deeply with what I’m creating.

I work as a freelancer on a mix of creative projects, often combining film, experimental animation, and analog photography. I’m especially drawn to stories about belonging, identity, and the traces we leave behind.

Outside of my work, I find inspiration in traveling, camping, and being close to nature. I love joining creative communities and collaborating with others—there’s something powerful about sharing experiences, caring for one another, and making things together. I truly believe that through connection and creativity, we can open up new perspectives and imagine other ways of being in the world.
